In 2023, LCLRC applied for a Brownfield Remediation grant for this property. This multi-storied structure was full of asbestos from the roof to basement and required the entire structure and its contents to be treated as asbestos. The unsafe structure was remediated which resulted in a clean site for the neighborhood.
