The Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program was established in House Bill 110 of the 134th General Assembly, codified in Ohio Revised Code section122.6512 and found in the Ohio Administrative Code sections 122:32-1-01 through 122:32-1-06. This chapter was amended by House Bill 33 of the 135th General Assembly. This program awards grants for the demolition of commercial and residential buildings and revitalization of surrounding properties on sites throughout Ohio that are not brownfields. LCLRC applied for $701,637 to remediate properties within the county. LCLRC reached out to the City, Villages, and Townships to locate properties appropriate for this grant program. Properties that met the required State qualifications were included in the grant application and approved by the Ohio Department of Development. Properties appearing on this list have the potential for demolition but are not guaranteed. The Land Bank will remediate as many properties as possible with the grant funding.
